Don Bosco College is a microcosm of the Arunachal Pradesh and has mostly students who belong to different tribes of the state. In addition, we also have students from many other states of North East India. The College also has members of almost all the major tribes of Arunachal Pradesh.

We also have students from other states like Assam, Nagaland, Manipur and Tripura building a mosaic of colour and culture.

Student Services

Awards and Scholarships:

Don Bosco Scholarship/endowments have been instituted by the college for the students who excel in the university every year. Students obtaining more than 60% marks (in every subject) in the university examination will be awarded scholarship.

Fr. Raphael Paliakara Memorial Award (Cash Prize) will be disbursed for the top scorer in the three years university examination.  

NSS

The National Service Scheme is a voluntary organization of College Students under the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development established during 1969-70 to inculcate social consciousness and a sense of responsibility, discipline and dignity of labour among the youth. The College Unit of the NSS is vibrant with activities and takes up adult education and health-education programmes each year under the guidance of the project officers.

Clubs and  Group Activities

The college encourages the formation of student clubs under the guidance of the teaching staff.

The clubs are literary and cultural, Information and Games and Sports. Literary and cultural clubs encourages and promotes related activities such as debates, seminars, workshops, singing, dancing, music etc. Information clubs collects news and information of the latest events and briefs the students regarding it. While Games and Sports club search, expose and develop talents in games and sports. Red Ribbon club intends to promote voluntary blood donation, Friendship club to promote good friendships and to encourage one another to develop value based life and behaviour pattern

Counselling Cell and Career Guidance

The college has a counseling and career guidance cell. It envisages to guide the students.

Seminars and Programmes:

The college organizes special courses and seminars of varying nature to promote an all round development of students. Every department organizes separately seminars for the department.
